My Nonprofit Reviews

Wow what a fantastic experience this was for me! I was fortunate enough to spend a month volunteering for the Rock Paper Scissors Children Fund. During this month I was able to make meaningful and lasting connections with both volunteers and local students. I was able to hone my leadership skills as well as creativity in leading art projects. I really felt that we were making a difference in giving these kids a hope for a brighter future yet at the same time learning about their present lives, and enjoying it with them!

This has been the best possible first experience volunteering for a nonprofit organization. Being here in Vietnam I've seen fist hand the positive impact of the music and art programs on each individual child. It has been so eye opening for me to see how the kids grow everyday into more creative, fulfilled, inspired, and driven people. It has also been amazing to see many of the kids in the programs take on new roles, and grow into leaders, and role models for the younger students.
