Our son completed this program from age 10-18. He ended as a chief petty officer. My husband and I both volunteer for the program and our son has now returned as a midshipman. The program has given us much more than we have given it. Our son learned how to be a leader, discipline and respect. He is proud of his country and is a productive citizen. We owe much of this to the program. As a volunteer, it is very rewarding to influence and watch young people advance.
