My 21-year-old son, Landon Upchurch, began his journey at Narrow Gate in January 2017. He is a hard worker but floundered in finding his work passion and was struggling greatly spiritually. Basically he was stuck in a rut on many levels and nothing we did seemed to lift him out. Once we learned about Narrow Gate he quickly submitted an application as he was ready to make life changes. After the process of applying he learned he had been accepted and we were all thrilled. Currently he has a few weeks remaining in his 9-month stay and he is completely changed. He has gained spiritual depth and insight and wants to help others grow in their faith and learn the things he's been taught. He has gained a sense of confidence socially and has been empowered to start moving toward his dreams in a new career. This has absolutely been the best program he could have ever been a part of. Not only has he changed but our entire family has also grown in our faith as we see the great things God has done during our son's time at Narrow Gate. We are so thankful that God used Narrow Gate to rescue our son.
