Exploring Southeast Asia was a once in a lifetime opportunity for not only me but others that I traveled with. Seeing Cambodia opened my eyes to new ways of seeing life and how fortunate we are in the United States. The culture, the stories, and history behind Cambodia really amazed me. It wasn't something I was planning on doing but at the last minute I had the funding to adventure outside of the United States. I've never traveled far outside of my reservation in Arizona nor have I gotten on a plane before. But I took a big leap and saw a whole atmosphere. Being 8,200 miles away from home was a great feeling but a big number to work with. Along with diverging to Thailand, that was a great experiences working with elephants and seeing places in Thailand that I never image seeing. Overall. everything like the scenery, the people, and culture all made us feel like we never left the United States. I would recommend it to anyone to is down for adventure and the thrill of seeing what is out there in the world. The sponsors will a big help and the leaders that made our trip possible were the best. They made sure we got the best experience out of Cambodia and enjoyed ourselves with the places that we got to visit.
