Review for The People Concern, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

At the beginning of my day I feel very fortunate to be a part of Lamp Community. I have spent over four and a half years working consistently to provide and give back to the community that I once resided in. I have deep memories that keep me proactive in day-to-day tasks today. experiences played into my initiative to bounce back, as a productive part of today's society as a candidate in my life it feels good making healthy decisions . At some point life takes a toll when you struggle with mental illness, the saying goes at some point we are stigmatized and we become victims but we don't stay victims we bounce back. I I personally have that experience up close and personal, recently I found out that I suffer from heart disease I may have to undergo surgery but I believe in my higher power that I will be treated with medication With that said I also suffer from grave emotional mental disorders sometimes it causes me to decompensate, in 2014 that is what happened to me. After four and a half years of dedicated work and treatment you never think that it would happen again but it did. Here we are in 2017 and I had to start all over from the ground up once again I pitch that tent, once again I did dibble and dab into addiction with behaviors. Today I have moved forward I have hope,I have a support teams and I have those deep memories from Lamp Community that plays into saving my life. Addition to this I am in school I have my own place, I'm still married and I am happy managing my mental illness I'm have bounced back into society with a bang by taking my baby steps I am blessed. I will be returning to work upon my full recovery. I am so grateful and to Lamp and all the things that they instilled in me. I want to give a special shout-out to CEO Miss Patricia Lopez, Stewart Robinson the gentleman that hired me and Dino, all of them are my heroes and they left a soft spot in their hearts for me on a professional level they left that door open so I can always come home. And for that I am forever so grateful. I had suffered a stroke which caused me to have short term memory loss but that is and will not stop me. I am taking pertinent courses in school that will have validity to my services. Once again I'm forever so grateful and thankful and don't worry Monica Potts is on her way home. With sincere regards.
