Our church has been sending teams to serve with Mission Guatemala since 2011. These have been all adult teams and student/adult teams. We have served in many other countries through the years and we have found Mission Guatemala to be one of our favorites. As a team leader, I am confident our team members will have a great experience and will have opportunities to develop relationships with both staff of Mission Guatemala and the people in the communities they serve. Mission Guatemala handles all the logistics so we can focus on serving and developing these relationships. They also do a great job of helping team members better understand the culture of the Mayan people and we find this very important. I give Mission Guatemala the highest possible recommendation as an organization to partner with as you seek to serve God by serving others!

This was the 8th team we have taken to serve with Mission Guatemala. I have led teams to several different countries. The staff at Mission Guatemala does such a great job handling the logistics for the team so the team can fully embrace the experience. The housing and meals are outstanding! Those who lead the construction are unbelievable as they patiently train the team members in the work they do, encouraging them all the way. Shannon does such a great job communicating with the team before you come and quickly answers questions. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Mission Guatemala offers great experiences for teams of all ages!
