I think one of the most amazing things about the way this organization works is it's ability to help pet owners in an emergency situation with emergency speed. When you have a sick or injured pet you don't have time to submit reams of paperwork and wait for committees to consider your application. This is set up to be S.T.A.T help for people who need it NOW! The screening process is designed to work efficiently and yet insure the grants are going where they are most needed. Great stuff!
