Where do I begin....this adoption process has been a great one. We adopted Christina, now named Lucy from Texas. She was a stray and heartworm positive, like many of these poor pups. We saw her on line and fell in love immediately. We started the adoption process and we're greeted by Kristin Sweeney. The process was very comprehensive and rightfully so, you need to make sure these pups are going to the best home. Our Lucy was fostered by Tara Tennant and family so she could go through her heartworm treatment. Tara is a beautiful and generous person, who fosters many dogs and gives them a nice transition to their forever home.
Lucy arrived 3 weeks ago and has settled in nicely, she is sleeping in my bed right now and will always have a place there for the rest of her life. She will be pampered, fed the best food and will go for many long walks. She will never know pain or heartache again. She is truly in her forever home. We love her so much! Thank you to all the volunteers, you are all gifts from God, please continue to do the work you do and save all these beautiful fur babies....God bless.
