Review for International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), Durham, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

IANDS provides an essential community benefit by facilitating discussion of this incredible phenomenon nationally, internationally, and locally. Through its international presence, IANDS has become the number one authority and resource for information on the topics of NDEs and other spiritually transformative experiences. Through national and international conferences and information available on the website, IANDS helps to support experiences, authors, as well as the general public. Likewise, through it’s support of local Meetup groups, IANDS helps facilitate discussions which are both cathartic for experiencers but also serve to spread awareness to the public. I became a local organizer for IANDS in 2015 and have been happy to volunteer my time and energies to this wonderful organization. IANDS provides an outstanding service to our community members who frequently convey to me how much this organization has had a positive impact on their lives.

Review for International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS), Durham, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

After participating in several meetings I decided to join IANDS as a volunteer and was asked to head up the coordination of a local chapter. My experience with IANDS is that it is an overwhelmingly positive and fraternal organization with a core interest in the benefit of humanity at large. While the NDE is the focal point, what really comes through is the deeper profound meaning of these experiences and the messages of love and universality. I have witnessed the profound impacts that IANDS has on our community of members. And this extends far beyond the experiencers themselves. Many of our members have never had an NDE and yet have received tremendous healing and growth as a consequence of their participation in our community. IANDS has an open-minded and non-dogmatic approach that allows people to truly explore deep and personal meaning without having to subscribe to a particular paradigm or spiritual / religious tradition etc.
