We have been fortunate to have the EDRC of Silicon Valley providing resources and advocacy for individuals living with eating disorders, and their families and loved ones, to improve their lives and return to their previous level of functioning. EDRCSV has been key in helping develop a training series for Santa Clara County, to improve knowledge of and evaluation for the wide range of eating disorders. This knowledge is crucial for mental health staff to be able to effectively deal with this serious set of conditions, which has the highest lethality rate of all major mental health disorders. We are fortunate to have EDRCSV as a valuable part of our community.
