I have volunteered at Critter Camp and have been impressed by Beth Randall who cares for and socializes her rescues every day. These small hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, and other kinds of small animals have been neglected, abused, or abandoned. They spend their last days, receiving good care. It's a one-of-a-kind rescue.

I have visited Critter Camp often and have found that Beth Randall the manager to be very caring and empathic with her charges. They have come to her after being traumatized by their previous experiences. Her rescues come from many different places. She has volunteers that will drive hours to pick up an animal. Local towns have found ferrets left in empty apartments, some guinea pigs have been found in public parks, and foxes would have been sold for their fur. Beth takes in these animals and gives them a forever home. She provides clean, healthy environments for her animals. All of the animals have been born in captivity so can never be returned to the wild. Her rescue is the only one of it's kind in the US.
