Review for PAWS New England, Millington, TN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

9 years ago we adopted Ruby. Ruby was the best pup ever. She passed away last year from lymphoma. Working with Paws to adopt Ruby was a great experience. They were professional and on top of everything. Once Ruby was part of our family we kept in contact with PAWs NE. It felt like a big family. When she passed they were also there to comfort us. Losing Ruby was one of the hardest things ever. Having Ruby as part of our family was the best thing ever.

Review for PAWS New England, Millington, TN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We adopted Ruby from PAWS New England in 2009. Ruby was a lab mix and the sweetest , smartest most loving dog ever. She slept with us every night. If we were in the living room watching TV she was on the couch with us. In 2012 my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Ruby was by his side the whole time he was receiving treatment . When he could not get out of bed after chemo she laid there with him. He is doing well now. Unfortunately this past year Ruby was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was stage 4 and even with treatment we were only able to have her for an additional 2 months. A week ago she passed away. Right up to the end she remained the sweet , funny dog we loved. I cannot thank Paws New England enough for giving us our Ruby. I just wish it could have been longer than the 8 years we got with her, I am so thankful we had her in our life. Our whole experience working with PAWS was amazing. My son and daughter in law also adopted a dog from PAWS NewEngland three years ago. Their Natty is also a sweet special little girl. PAWS New England is an amazing dedicated group of volunteers who do great work. Thank you for all you do and for saving Ruby 8 years ago, and allowing us to have the most amazing dog as part of our family.
