Over all my experience attenting the Women's Intercultural Center has been a great experince, I got to feel like I was part of them for the mean while. I enjoyed getting to see so manny diffferent faces as well as recognizing faces everyday whom they keep coming back. I helped around the store that the center provided, and also had people fill out questionarities for a project that the boss was working on. I also had the chance to meet and talk to older woman do to their personal experince. It was not only shoking to hear this touching stories, but it allowed me to value my self as an indivial and to recognize, and not let myself if I was ever to be in a situation like theirs. this experience also allowed me to attend and to be part of a Wiz Latina conference which was also a great experience that really moved me. For me not to forget whom we are and how special, and powerful we are and could be as Latinas. Overall my experience help me to gain confidence as a character and to believe in myself to achieve my goals in life. the center reminded me that woman are stronger that what they actually seem to be, and no matter how bad, painful, or awful a situation gets woman will always rise.
