I heard about Fistula Fund from two sources I respect most in the world of philanthropy: Peter Singer's The Life You Can Save Foundation and Nick Kristof. Both pay close attention to the efficiency of the organization. Specifically, how much good do they do with the funds they receive. I have been amazed by Fistula Fund's work and their ability to change the life not only of one woman but their family as well. I am so excited to keep supporting them in their great work.
