Smile Train has been an important part of my charitable giving for a number of years. They are on my charity list because they transform the life of a child who is growing up with a cleft palate. These are children from third world countries where correcting such a problem is simply a dream. Obviously it impacts the appearance of a child, but also their ability to speak clearly and in many cases their nutrition in that the ability to chew and swallow is negatively impacted. When the doctors and medical staff of Smile Train perform their "magic" on a child who has been suffering for years, they literally transform the life of a young person. They make dreams come true. That's why I am proud to support Smile Train.
