I have been an ardent supporter of Smile Train for many years. This nonprofit truly devotes most of its resources for the benefit of children born with a cleft palate. And, knowing my donation, large or small, goes such a long way in transforming the life of a child brings a smile to my face and a glow to my heart.
Smile Train intelligently trains doctors indigenous to the region to perform cleft palate surgery. This is the most effective and cost efficient method to provide on-going and continuous care to as many children as possible who would otherwise never be treated for such a severe but highly treatable deformity.
