I’ve been a volunteer with hospice SLO for about a year. I’ve also used many of their lovely services including: grief support, counseling, yoga, and advise for my mom’s financial and aging needs. My family appreciate the no costs services they provide. Many people I know in our community rely on them in a times of great need.

More then a support group, counseling service, and auction fun fundraiser SLOHOSPICE is a local community. They have become an extended family for me as I develope my grief coping skills. "Virtual gatherings" have kept us safe and supported during the recent Covid-19 quarantine. The resources they provide me are unlimited: Word of mouth referrals, encouragement, literature, compassion, and common purpose.

My first experience with Smile Train was an informative video. Since them I have been kept informed on needs of children in need of life changing surgeries. I feel like my donations over the years has been used wisely and appreciated.
