I have followed and supported Smile Train for a fair number of years. As the old saw goes the proof of the pudding is in the eating. The numerous photographs of children that have been helped show just how effective Smile Train is. Most kids in the third world aren't going to have world class surgeons available for their needs but SmileTrain does just that. Another major benefit of that is that their local medical professionals can be trained in the surgical techniques and necessary aftercare.
