My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Counterpart International, Inc., Arlington, VA, USA
This is Hamidullah Muazam, Program Manager at ADWRO - one of the grantees of Counterpart in Afghanistan since 2005. I attended more than 20 management connected trainings, and received technical assistance in areas of expertise when Counterpart commenced its I-PACS program in Afghanistan. When I serve in an NGO to advance women's rights and empowerment, of course, the services I received made it possible to secure funds for the organization in areas of Civic Education, Legal Aid to Women (Women and Girls at Risk), Social Services including Education, Income Generation, and Supporting Civil Society Organizations through trainings and technical assistance, not only from Counterpart but from other international donors in Afghanistan as well. In addition, this program enabled us to support 16 local civil society organizations financially in terms of running Advocacy Initiatives on Domestic Violence against Women and Human Rights trainings for High School students, covering grade 10, 11 and 12. Moreover, through Counterpart Consultancy, the organization's policies and procedures revised as standardized manner.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
