Darlene is the sweetest. She works so hard with very little help to ensure that these animals find their forever home. I am currently fostering a rabbit that I am pretty sure will be a foster fail :)
I have actually never heard of a shelter for rats, exotic animals, etc so I was really blown away. So many of these types of animals get a bad rep or just overlooked. Or sometimes when they find themselves unwanted, they get left out in the wild to fend for themselves. It is quite sad. This is a safe haven for them, and I hope that Mrs. Darlene can get the help she needs to make this a well known shelter so that she can save many more lives in the future.
