Review for Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking, Denver, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

LCHT has not only taught me about the impact human trafficking has on individuals and our communities, but it has also helped me realize how critical the training and education LCHT does to put an end to this horrific crime.

LCHT’s work to end human trafficking is critical. I serve on the board of LCHT because I know their work is effective to meet that mission. One area where I think LCHT is making a big impact is training, LCHT has trained and educated more than 35,000 first responders, professionals, and community members.

Great organization. Takes survivors input foremost, which is crucial. Thoughtful and dedicated, with a great deal of passion and commitment from the staff, volunteers, interns and board members. So pleased and humbled to serve on their board.

The Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking is an incredibly impressive organization with the vision to end human trafficking. A few years ago, I was looking to connect with an organization that focused on ending this atrocity in an effective way that used both data and survivor perspectives. I was immediately drawn to LCHT's research-based approach - they look to data and facts - and also that it is respectful of the people who have been trafficked, knowing that their valuable insights provide the greatest guides. LCHT understands intersection thinking, that systems built to oppress are interconnected - impossible to examine separate from one another - and uses that approach since it is the only way toward a meaningful and lasting resolution. I am incredibly proud to be a board member of this remarkable organization.
