Review for St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, USA
I support St Joseph's school because Charity begins at home.
Our Native Americans are a forgotten people.
While "Do-gooders" want to support our foreign born enemies, our own nations' children go hungry and neglected.
I was, myself, a cold, hungry, neglected child in my youth. I worked outside the home to earn money for some extra food and once a little Native American boy taught me to find berries and to "take" unwanted fruit from trees and vines.
In church I was taught to save pennies for UNICEF, but UNICEF never helped me, even when I was so very hungry. Some kind person from church did leave me clothes on the doorstop overnight sometimes. I do not know who, but I never forgot their kindness, God Bless them.
I am 70 years old now and am not able to give much but I give Charity when and to whom I am able. I am not of the Catholic Faith but I believe in their mission to help these forgotten children. You may never know how you have touched someone's life.
God is Good, put your trust in him and he will answer your prayers.
And if you have the will to give, there will be a way!
