Several years ago I became most interested in Native American history and the heritage of our American Indiana brothers and sisters. During a trip to the Southwest, I became more involved and deeply touched by what I witnessed and saw concerning the lives of Native American Indians. It was such a privilege to meet and speak with those whom I did while traveling. I knew then that I wanted to be of service in some way to those who deserved much more than they had received.

When I returned home, I began to seek and found the path, which led me to St. Joseph's Indian School. It has been a fulfilling relationship and given me the opportunity to learn and see the possibilities become realities through patience, endeavor and love.
