As a Peace Corps Volunteer serving on the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hands Across the Sea has been an integral resource and support for my service. Without their immense donation of literacy supplies, books, materials, and informational resources my school would not have a functional library or remedial resources for struggling resources. Having leveled, Caribbean specific, and brand new books, games, lesson materials, and support has helped increase the literacy rates and print awareness within the school community. We look forward to working with them in the future, and their continued work in highlighting the needs of struggling Caribbean students, and providing excellent support.
