I was asked why would I support a school so far away when there is need here and where I had no truly personal connection. The answer is very simple; there was little or no support in Cameroon from within so when I met Rev. Elizabeth Geist and she told me of her involvement in building this school, why they were doing it, the children who were ripe for this essential first step, I had not hesitation whatsoever and I plan to contribute now for the second phase.
To see that the school was finished on time and on budget was incredible and then to see photos of those young students in their uniforms, ready to take on the world, that was the greatest gift of all. Lorraine DiPaolo
