Review for Women Of Diversity Productions Inc, Las Vegas, NV, USA
In 2001 I was looking for a job after recently returning to Las Vegas, Nevada. I found Women of Diversity in the phone book and the name alone inspired me to call and seek employment. As a non-profit the organization works on a very tight budget so no paying jobs were available. I was so impressed with the mission of the organization that I became a volunteer. What a wonderful, needed organization here in Las Vegas! There has been so much history made in this community but for the most part only the well-known are highlighted. Women of Diversity sees to it that the contributions of women who have made a significant mark in their community are recognized. This is an organization that needs so much support in order to continue its good work. I am proud to be a volunteer and an advocate for Women of Diversity.
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the creation of video and print material showcasing the lives of various women of Las Vegas and Nevada so their contributions to their community do not go unrecognized.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
provide greater exposure for the important work they are doing for the state of Nevada and find creative and effective ways to keep them financially secure.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the drive and ambition of its founder and its volunteers
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and hold a true belief in the work they are doing.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
inform the country, perhaps even the world of the amazing women who silently, yet purposely build strong, vital communities wherever they are.
Ways to make it better...
I had more time to devote to its cause
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
competition for funding with other non-profits.
One thing I'd also say is that...
please support Women of Diversity
