I am a strong believer in a future of renewed hope for everyone, particularly for children of Cameroon. Their wishes and longings are deeply connected to their desire to receive a quality secondary/high school education. When I discovered Good Shepherd SLF was doing just that, in partnership with Good Shepherd Academy Association in Cameroon, I knew I had found a nonprofit in which I could become seriously involved and contribute.

As Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors, I serve in part as a bridge between this American foundation and their Cameroonian counterpart. You see, I was born in Cameroon and know first hand the value of schools like Good Shepherd Academy. And GSA takes it to a new level by incorporating leadership skills, critical thinking, and independent thought into a curriculum that includes the STEM subjects, English and French, Business, World Religions and Tolerance, Ethics, Art and Music, Sustainable Agriculture and more. Good Shepherd Academy is leading the way for tomorrow's leaders of Cameroon. In addition, the Academy will usher in a long-overdue turning point in Cameroonian education.
