Review for Birth Roots, Portland, ME, USA
Very important experience after my son was born - went 1x a week (at least) on and off for the first 6 months for classes and just to hang out with other new moms. Helped SO MUCH to normalize the experience, get help learning how to care for my son and myself, and connect with other women going through similar things. Still in touch with other moms/babies one year later!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
how it helped me learn specific parenting strategies and also transition into my identity as a new mom of a young infant. Without it, I would have been more isolated and at risk for postpartum depression and problematic attachment issues with my son.
