Review for Christian Help Inc, Morgantown, WV, USA
Christian Help is a great place to volunteer. You get hands on time with community members, and if you go to WVU, you are likely meeting new students. I am a student required to do community service at Christian Help, and as a student, it is difficult to work here. They have limited hours, so if you have class every day of the week, good luck getting downtown when they are open. And when they are "open" often times, they are randomly closed. I have tried countless of times to get my hours, and have even been told to come certain days, just to find that it was closed at random or opening late. They are inconsistent, unorganized, and unreliable. You might want to volunteer here because you want to do a good thing or maybe you were forced to like I was, but regardless, it makes it hard to do the work when they are unreliably open. It it hard to be a volunteer here and I would not do it again because of the experience I have had with the employees, even though I greatly support the cause and the people in need in Morgantown.
