The Humane Society of McCormick County has helped me so many times I have lost count. They helped me find a rescue group for a senior bassett hound that was dumped in my neighborhood that had serious medical needs, (pictures below). They helped me find a rescue site to help me place my deceased mother's sharpei and I fortunate to get a certificate from them to have my puppy neutered and his first rabies shot. I think they are a great group of people with hearts of gold. I even had a fundraiser for my birthday on Facebook to raise money for this awesome nonprofit group.

I have lived in McCormick County for most of my life and I am so thankful for the Humane Society of McCormick. A few years ago they helped me find the right rescue group to place my deceased mother's Shar pei . I have reached out to them since then when our neighborhood was a dump site fora senior bassett hound with many health issues including a large tumor dragging the ground. Again it was a success finding a rescue that came a long ways to help get this baby safe along with surgery and health care he needed. I could go on and on of the times I have reached out to them for help and they always came through. God Bless each and every one of you who are there to help these babies.
