I have two birds adopted through Mickaboo, and two Mickaboo foster birds. All “special needs” birds. This is great group of tireless people who do fantastic work rehabilitating and
rehoming these intelligent and sensitive beings. Not to mention educating the public
about the special needs of these animals. Growing up, my family took in
and cared for many unwanted birds purchased by others on a whim at pet stores. As an
adult I wanted to return to helping these special creatures, and found Mickaboo!
