W/NP is a wonderful opportunity to become involved in an intimate cultural exchange, in many ways. Whether teaching, acquiring or packing goods, traveling to learning centers; one can not help but learn about, and from the people of Nicaragua. This organization focuses on"teaching one to fish," not a handout of short term existence. An incredible amount of tools for learning and creating job opportunities come from this organization and it's volunteers. There is a connection that elevates everyone above politics, to a personal love and respect for each other.
