Wisconsin/Nicaragua Partners is an incredible nonprofit, which supports an amazing number and variety of projects in our partner country of Nicaragua. The dedicated volunteers in both Wis. and Nica. continuously strive to improve the lives of all people involved.
I have traveled to Nicaragua on seven trips with W/NP, and each time I can't say enough good things about the experiences, whether visiting learning centers or providing eyeglasses to individuals. Nicaragua is a beautiful country with friendly, loving people and I have always felt safe there and would encourage anyone to take a trip with us.
Our staff (in both offices) works tirelessly to help those in need as well as promote valuable cultural exchanges, such as Youth Ambassadors' visits, WI Lions' club trips, Farmer to Farmer, and too many more to mention. Our Learning Centers provide opportunities for people to gain skills that can be used to raise income for their families, so very important to help them help themselves.
