I have had the great honor to join LCHT as the Community Engagement Intern for the 2016-2017 year. LCHT is a unique non-profit. While their work is truly outstanding, it is their need for establishing meaningful relationships with everyone they meet that truly stands apart from the crowd. LCHT bridges the gap across sectors and between professionals and community members. They have an extensive network of nurtured relationships built on trust and understanding. LCHT encourages connections across the state so that passionate people can work together to make real social change. Their most powerful tools have been their knowledge and expertise and their ability to make everyone feel valued in their efforts. I am grateful to have been apart of such an organization and I am excited to work alongside them in their pursuit to end human trafficking.
