I am honored to serve the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking as a Board member. LCHT conducts face-to-face training sessions to share its data and build consensus about what anti-trafficking actions are effective and what practices have proven best to care for survivors. This information is shared with community leaders, policy makers, health care providers, shelters, law enforcement agencies, and other academic professionals. As part of its community outreach efforts LCHT provides age-appropriate information for teachers and students at all levels. LCHT administers the Colorado Network to End Human Trafficking (CoNEHT), a 24/7 victim assistance hotline, and has a chair on the Governor’s Colorado Human Trafficking Council. LCHT is making Colorado a better place to live every day.
