I met Hilary and some of the volunteers years ago at a horse expo. It was an honor to finally meet some of the faces behind this great horse rescue whose reputation preceded them. Their work was well-known in our community and soon became legendary in the fight to end horse slaughter. I've worked for many years to fight horse abuse and have never heard a bad thing said about this organization. They are what horse rescue should be!
