Review for Program for Torture Victims, Los Angeles, CA, USA
PTV started 30 years ago as a volunteer organization by two people who simply wanted to help survivors of torture. This humanitarian spirit is at the core of PTV today. The staff and volunteers at PTV are wonderful, dedicated, talented people who give amazingly of themselves. The need to serve the organization's wonderful clients is becoming more and more demanding and more and more resources are needed to serve this population. We have just hired a great leader in the Executive Director position, Julie Gutman, and we are excited for Julie and everyone else at PTV to help raise the visibility of the organization with the goal of developing more resources.
