Between September and December 2015, as a Planet Startup advisor, I worked with 10 Ghanaian entrepreneurs and startups to develop business plans, create resumes, understand ways to raise capital, and use web and social media applications to advertise and market their businesses. The participants' entrepreneurial pursuits ranged from logistics and poultry farming to renewable energy installation and engineering. Each of the 10 participants completed the three-month workshop. Of these, although comprehensive data are unavailable, indications are that more than 50% actually expanded or initiated new entrepreneurial pursuits.
