The Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund saved our lives! My husband was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan and kept getting sick and the army finally medically discharged him and misdiagnosed him with Asthma. This October he got so sick he had to be rushed to a hospital 5 hrs away and was admitted 15days and that day and diagnosis changed our lives. We both were forced to quit our jobs and we travel monthly 10 hrs away to get Chemo and see his drs. He was admitted again for 15 days because he developed a blood clot in his heart. This organization took all the stress and worry about money off our hands and helped us so much financially as well as being there for us and lending a listening ear. I was able to be with my husband every step of the way and care for our 4 kids. We cannot thank them enough!
