Volunteering with Planetstartup Entrepreneurship Academy, I have worked with them to organized two online cohort trainings in entrepreneurship and Project Management. Through my volunteering with Planetstartup Entrepreneurship Academy we have been engaged in helping to mobilize unemployed youth, adults or those with interest in using innovations, entrepreneurship as part way to unlock unemployment, improve self-reliance capacities and boost up economic growth within Sierra Leone. In this regards we have helped potential participants in our course trainings with innovation and entrepreneurship trainings, mentorship and coaching services in order to help them set up and run their own local business, internet-based companies as well as connecting them with partners to help them succeed. We believe talent and initiative are distributed equally over the planet; however, opportunity, technology, as well as access to capital, payment platforms, and markets are not and we have been helping to fix that.

As an organization, we are more passionate about youth’s issues with more focus on how social innovation and entrepreneurship can be used in mitigating the high rate of youth unemployment.
Really we as a team are trying to mitigate the high rate of youths unemployment in the world, and this further help to reflect our minds to the current trend of the world, really the world is approaching a period of economic chaos where jobs are going away in the farming, mining, transportation areas due to automation and robotics while young adult unemployment is growing at a rapid pace causing nations to become unstable and we are helping to fix this through entrepreneurship.
We are fixing this by creating a world organization of volunteers to mentor and coach unemployed young adults residing in developing, remote, isolated, or marginalized areas to reach world markets by setting up their own internet companies and becoming entrepreneurs as well as connecting them with investors and partners to help them succeed.
We as an organization decided to come up with such an initiative because we as an organization have a deep trust in the need to put youths at the center of their own transformation , believing in the capacity of youths to initiate and promote processes that can eliminate factors that inhibit the holistic development with the determination to work as a unit and to increase self-reliance capacities. Our role is to mobilize committed youths around the world that are willing to acquire skills to transform our society through online skills training in entrepreneurship. We having been facilitating online training sessions and also have been working together to give leadership training in entrepreneurship and project management to help youths develop skills in technical leadership capacity in areas such as business plan writing, crowding funding opportunities, electronic publishing, strategic operations, business ethics, social entrepreneurship, organizational development and management, project management, marketing, innovation and technology, emerging markets and risk analysis, strategic business planning, and corporate social responsibility. This programme has helped to strengthen many youths within Sierra Leone to develop socio-economic knowledge in catering, buildup resilience to ownership and self-employment to businesses and an increase for economic growth in our community.
