This story starts with our Chihuahua Sabrina crossing over the rainbow bridge on February 13th. She almost made it to her 15th. birthday. We were grateful to have her for so long but were heartbroken over the loss. It also left her sister Lacee grieving the loss. We knew we would eventually add to our family and had decided to adopt senior dogs. The decision to adopt another pup was just a matter of timing. We were looking through the Coastal Pet Rescue site and saw this adorable face that belongs to a senior named Gracie. We weren't sure if we were ready but we kept coming back to that cute little face and that senior pup Gracie. We talked about it and decided that she was the one we wanted to fill that void. She would add to our family that missing piece and we would give her the forever home she deserved. So we filled out an application and we received a phone call that same night. We placed a deposit on her and learned more about her story. Coastal Pet Rescue brought her up to date on her shots, provided dental work that was desperately needed and microchipped her. The adoption process went smoothly and now Gracie is in her forever home. Lacee is happy, we are happy, and Gracie is happy.
