BCR is a wonderful charity. I believe they have significantly helped to bring attention to blind cats and how they can make wonderful pets. It wasn't that long ago that if a cat was determined to be blind, it would be euthanized by a lot of cities' animal control departments. Blind Cat Rescue & Sanctuary helped to educate the public about how these kitties deserve a chance at life just as much as any other cat. I was also happy to discover them when we adopted our own blind cat. It is obvious how compassionate and caring they are about all of the cats they take care of. I have also donated many times in the past, and always receive wonderful thank you letters for my donations. I believe they go above and beyond not just in caring for the cats but also with their donors and supporters. They are genuinely happy for every donation they receive, and take none of it for granted.
