I've adopted 4 birds from Mickaboo and am always impressed by the level of dedication the coordinators and volunteers pour into the organization. The organization is run completely by volunteers who do the impossible on a daily basis in their efforts to take birds out of crummy situations and ensure they're placed in excellent homes.
The effort of coordinating all of this always amazes me and, if that isn't enough, in their spare time they also help pet owners who've lost their birds re-capture them!
