Alpha Omega Epsilon National Foundation grants scholarships to women studying in the fields of technical science and engineering. I have been an active supporter of their scholarship program and have several funded scholarships. Every dollar I have donated has gone directly to the scholarship winner. I’m proud to have been a part in making a meaningful impact on the education of the scholarship recipients and extremely happy with the job the Foundation has done in distributing the funds. Both through the scholarship program and support of the local AOE chapters, AOE National Foundation offers women opportunities for careers in field that will provide a stable and comfortable living, a chance to build, design, or manage improvements in their communities, and give them choices in life many could never have dreamed of otherwise. What could be more empowering than that?
