My experience with Mission Guatemala was top-notch. My team was a group of nutrition students and two of our professors. During our 9 days in the country we got to work closely with Mission Guatemala's social workers to tour the feeding programs they sponsor and teach cooking classes to junior high school students. Our experience was perfectly tailored to us so we could use our specific skills to best serve the community. In getting to work alongside the Mission Guatemala employees, I believe we were able to truly do some good in the community. All of our days were planned very well to best utilize our time. We were never without translators to help us communicate. The team at Mission Guatemala takes good care of the incoming missionaries.
