I have supported the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Home for Children in Eaton Rapids MI., for many years. The name is a bit confusing, because the Home serves children, but also serves families of Veterans, and active duty military. The services are truly inclusive, as the Home provides housing, Education, Daycare, Case Management, Basic Needs, such as food and clothing, health care and recreation.
The Home is truly a community of caring focused on the needs of the folks welcomed in. Compassion, encouragement and love are all part of the culture at the Home.
They stretch their dollars, facilitate hundreds of Volunteers, and have the generous support of Veterans from all generations.
I will be a life time donor to this excellent organization and I recommend them to everyone I meet.
