By way of disclosure, I must declare that my daughter is related, by marriage, to principals in this wonderful non-profit, but that has not clouded my judgement.
Those who operate this group are truly volunteers and their resources, financial and otherwise, go to vets and their needs not covered by the VA. No one takes a penny of compensation.
It is a well-managed charity that is under the radar, but there doing its saintly services to needy vets day in and day out.
