I volunteer at Equine Aid 2-3 days each week. It is extremely rewarding to be a part of a community of people who are so interested in the animal's well-being. The horses and donkeys receive the necessary vet, farrier, and trainer care, as well as the right food and attention to ensure they thrive. It is a teaching environment. I had no real equine knowledge before I started volunteering six months ago. I've learned so much. This organization has given so many animals a better life or saved them from a life that was going to be cut short. I tell all my friends about Equine Aid because a place this special needs to be recognized.
