I want to say a big thank you to EPI for the opportunity for me to go through tertiary education. Life hasn’t been easy for me and without the help received from this great organization I would not be in the university. My name is John Harrison Bediako a final year student of the University of Ghana offering Medical laboratory science. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as recipient of the scholarship. The impact made in my life is so enormous and has brought me a lot of benefits and advantages that has transformed my life tremendously. I am now in my final year in the university thanks to EPI. My dream of becoming a medical doctor one day would have been shattered without the great help from this organization. Through the advice and teachings, I have received, I have been able to overcome my fears and now very confident to speak in public. I have learnt public speaking skills through the lessons our director gives to us. I have also started my own business and volunteered with many NGOs in Ghana to help the less privileged in society. I have also learnt how to design a plan for my life and become successful. I have also met a great family in EPI ho are also determined to achieve great things in life. The EPI scholarship program has helped me to interact with great men in Ghana due to the lessons learnt through our general meetings. I chose to read medical laboratory science because it is the bedrock of health care in the world and it is my passion to help save the lives of people in my country and the world at large. Medical lab science is a very great course that is very key in health care delivery. I would also want to further to become a medical doctor specialized in pathology. I would work for a while then continue my education in the medical school. I will also be doing volunteering work to help the needy and less privileged in society by providing basic health care and food items. My aim in life is to build more facilities such as schools, hospitals and very essential infrastructure in my community to help reduce the level of illiteracy and poverty in my community and country. I would like to take this opportunity to thank EPI for the great help and generosity shown to me. I am really grateful and thankful. Thank you.

My name is Harrison Bediako John and I come from a very deprived area in Ghana.i am currently a student of the university of Ghana studying medical laboratory science.my entry into the university seemed almost impossible because my parents couldn't afford to pay for my fees and accommodation after completing senior high school. My Dad had lost his job for several years and my mum was a petite trader who couldn't afford the fees.I entered into the university after borrowing money from people.Life became so difficult for me as school started and I was very worried how I would be able to complete my program.I therefore applied to the Educational pathways International (EPI) scholarship in 2016 and by God's grace I became a beneficiary. EPI has provided me with all the necessary needs to be able to study hard and achieve my goals in future.I am very grateful to Mr and Mrs Lafrance for this wonderful opportunity they have provided us with.God richly bless and increase them in every facet of their lives.
