I have been a part of Heart of Texas since Feb.2015,when my granddaughter and I used some of our time in Austin to volunteer. What an amazing story Heart of Texas has, what an amazing work of love, support,education,and hope, for all that pass through the doors. The staff is knowledgable, kind, respectful of each and every woman that come there. They offer so much help from counciling,clothes,diapers,formula,prenatal care, and even a once a week program to give women a chance to "breathe" and laugh and encourage one another, while child care is provided. I'm only a short time volunteer, as I don't live in Austin, but a full time contributor , and believe me, this place is making a huge positive change in the lives of women in this area. So honored to be a wee part of a big plan.jcarlton
